Almost every individual and every company now has their own Web site. Some of them are still

trying to build while others are busy improving theirs. Web development is one of the hottest

careers today in the field of Information Technology. But exactly what portion of the candidates

actually have the necessary skills to apply for a post for web development? There is a lot of

argument about certification program. Some believe that it will help candidates getting the job

faster while the program will also help the web professional associations defining ambiguous job

titles and bringing in training dollars. There are quiet a few Information Technology

professionals offering certification programs in the web technologies, but only two companies

offering more to that; such as, Learning Tree International and Prosoft I-Net Solutions. Again,

there are debates over the vendor-specific and vendor-neutral web technology programs.

On the other hand, some people thinks that the certification program is a waste of time. They

believe that experience is what counts to most of the companies. A certificate, ofcourse, will

help those who does not have any experience.

The downside of not having a certificate is that people tends to claim that web development is

easy and view themselves as a webmaster. But there are more to that then just creating a web

site. It needs the understanding of various sides, such as, a good design, knowledge of business

strategy and marketing, networking securities, etc.

There is a lot of competition out there and lot of opportunities also, but to most of the

observers, one certification will not become dominant in the near future.

My reaction to this article is good because it tell how to use web site and it easy to

reach information that I need to have.

I agree that web site easy and fast to reach information but sometime it hard to get

throught web site and they had to many link that are hard to understand or link to,

but I still like to use it.

The related to the course is web create to network and link to web technologies,

sometime it also can related to programs.
